ps2 demo disc for jap ps2

i have a pal ps2 demo disc. but i have a jap 150000 modded ps2. how would i patch this demo disc to work on my jap ps2. i've downloaded fargo but have no idea how to start it up.i double click on the fargo icon and nothing happens except a small screen flashes on and off. im new to burning etc. i bought the demo because i don't want to waste £44 on a pal game that i cannot play. i tried to patch the demo cdrwin image with the universal patcher from paradox but when it came to burning it was too big a file. please please please help and thanx in advnce for doing so
