Karaoke revolution adding songs

OK i know this may sound odd but this game is pretty cool when you have friends over and a few drinks in ya, nice party game, well anyways ... my delema..I have seen that people have been able to create and add there own songs or fav songs to the game which i think would be very hot, but i have been having the hardest time getting it to work for me..dont know if anyone on this forum has tryed doing it but if you have please step up and give me some insite on how you have gotten it to work for you..here is a link to where i was following the directions from

I am not looking into editing any songs, just trying to transport them over into the game correctly..
