It was indeed released in Germany end of last week, maybe 26.
It should have been released earlier, as in rest of europe, but they had trouble with german USK, they put it on index (no public selling). So they had to take some blood away and got it now over 18 age (What's the damn difference?) The August version was the "Games Convention Edition" of the game, not for sale but uncut therefore. You understand? Try to download/install brandnew official v1.1 patch, done to solve some copyprotection problems when playing the new retail version, maybe it helps, but don't know.
