Help! Do you have a Mod Chip for the US PS2? Please, I need info...

I am about to buy a mod chip for my US PS2 and I would appreciate any information that you can provide. Getting information from ModChip.Com is like pulling teeth! Here are my specific questions, although any information you can provide would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

1. If you have purchased a Mod Chip for a PS2, please let me know where you bought it and how successfully it works. I need any recommendations and/or advice before I buy one from modchip.com.

2. Do I need the Utility Disk to use the mod chip? I have mailed for mine but have yet to recieve it!

3. Does your Mod Chip support PS1 backups? All of them or some of them?
