Modding the PS2.

I've got a Japanese PS2, and a Mod Chip. I haven't put it in yet, because I know I can't just play the games as easily as I played imports on the PS.

I need to know a couple things:

1)Where do I find patches for US Games? Patches for Japanese games are nice, but I'd really like to get the US ones.

2) How do I apply the patches?

A quick reply would be appreciated, since I'd kinda like to play the original US games I have still sitting here.
