The Da Vinci Code crashes to desktop

this sucks
after every single level or episode i have to restart this (...) game...i got stucked at the templer church,where tihs long bastard is shooting at me. I hate games, where i can´t change the controls. At least it is some kind of educational. I´m glad there is a no introfix, otherwise i´d be running wild on my game
Playing with the original dvd isn´t really an option...the game also crashes at 1024x768 (kinda buggy?!)...It isn´t my favorite game, but i´ve come so far, i just can´t stop
so i´m looking foward deviance or anyone else will find a solution.
