Hello everyone,
I hate to start on the board, then ask a question, but I'm so frustrated that it isn't working right. I just recently got a new 3-d card, a 256mb BFG GeForce 6200 OC (overclocked). Now,... I can run F.E.A.R and Quake 4 decently well at 'medium' graphics, mainly due to my 2.2ghz pentium 4 processor. But I KNOW my computer can take everything Area51 SHOULD be dishing out just fine,... and it has been,... Til I entered 'the hot zone' the very first stage,... at the very beginning, when the alien's jump through the windows, shards of glass fly everywhere,... but the particals freeze on my screen. Anyone know how I can fix this, or is it a problem with my hardware? Oh, and I have the most recent Drivers and most recent DirectX as well. Also, I've tried it with every update patch, with and without the disc, and even different settings,.... it still appears EVERYTIME! EVEN IN THE BLOODY SCOPE OF THE GUN Here's a link to a screenshot,... ; www.geocities.com/recca01982/screenshot000.bmp can anyone PLEASE help me x.x EDIT : Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that I used to have a 124mb Radeon 9800 before, and it ran 'okay' until large amounts of mobs, or too many textures popped up on my screen. |
