Battlefield 2 - update patch 1.12

Ok I know someone is going to go crazy when they read this post because its been said over and over in this thread but it just doesn't seem to be working for me. I have reinstalled the game no cracks added and then upgraded to version 1.12 after the patching is completed I replace the .exe & .dll with the cracked version for no cd version 1.0 and it still doesn't work what am I doing wrong I have done it over a bunch of times and it's really starting to get on my nerves. Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong & help me out. Thanks a bunch in advance.
