It seems your friend created those files from your game using CloneCD.
Unfortunately he used the wrong program. FF7 is not protected and CloneCD seems to have a problem with unprotected PSX games although it is usually fine with protected ones. Suggest the correct program to use is Goldenhawk's CDRWin using the DEFAULT settings that the program selects when installed.
