What is the error message? , could help about causes.
Maybe, the game search at installation drive. For example, if you install game in drive E:, and the virtual drive is F:, maybe, in some *.cfg or in windows registry, there is information about drive, and search only in E: .Was usual in old games. Search for *.cfg in directory game and edit with notepad, or search for "casanova" in windows registry (regedit.exe), for look any keys about drive letter, and if you find it, change keys to virtual drive letter. Take care in windows registry.
