sonic adventure 2 rip problem

I ripped sonic adventure 2 but now I am having trouble getting it to work. I was able to downsample it to fit onto a 700mb CD. The problem I am having is figuring out what copy protection was used. I did hack3 1st_read.bin 0 and then used binhack on it but I just end up in the DC menu screen. I do not want the do the lba 4500 trick due to the fact that I will have to downsample it more. Please help thankz.
