Okay, its not a disk, but it does launch I thaught the name was snazzy so I called it that. Okay now onto the intro:
Are you one of the people who [bought] HDLoader? Feel left out because you cannot play with homebrew applications everyone is making a fuss about? Want to play your favorite emulator but can't be bothered to burn 50 CD-R's to figure out how? Love TheDecline ??? Well your in luck because I have invented a new system allowing you to play homebrew applications on your HDLoader. I called it Launch Disk. How does it work you ask? Well its very basic at the moment.
-You take your favorite .ELF file and rename it LAUNCH.ELF (pretty simple so far?)
-Then you copy it into the Launch Disk folder replacing the old 0KB one (it was no good anyway).
-Next you can either install it to Disk1.iso or Disk2.iso.
HOLD UP. WTF is Disk1.iso or Disk2.iso ??? WHAT ONE DO I CHOOSE!!
Well, that is quite simple, I will post a compatibility list below stating what disk to use for what homebrew. If its not on the list, just go with Disk 1 its a surefire choice. Anywho, back to the instructions
-After you know what disc to load your homebrew onto run the correct exe shortcut (LoadDisk1.exe or LoadDisk2.exe)
-If you have Windows XP a screen will flash quickly then go away, otherwise youll get command prompt mumbo jumbo, as long as it doesn't say anything about an error, your good to close it.
-Next connect your PS2 HDD onto your computer.
-Next pull out your favorite application PS2 HDD Utility, and load Disk1.ISO/Disk2.ISO onto the HDD.
-Disconnect the HDD, put it back in your PS2, and begin using your favoirte application.
See, now wasen't that fun? Only 8 simple steps to getting your favorite Homebrew Applications running on your HDLoader.
<end ****ty advertisement tone>
yeah folks, I never thurally tested it, im about to watch futurama, its 2 in the morning, I dont want to!! you test it, and report back, its not going to make yoru computer explode on yah. or your ps2 for that matter. But if it does, dont blame me.
Compatibility List:
Disk1 :
-PGEN
-PS2Menu-K v0.31
Disk2 :
-SNES Station
There you have it. I soon hope to incorperate this whole process into PS2 HDD Utility for yaz, but for now, try it the old fashioned way
