MOD Installers in NorCal/Bay Area

With tomorrow's price drop for XBox, I'm thinking about picking up a couple and having them mod'd. Can anyone suggest services that are in the Bay Area, CA?

I considered doing it myself; I do some middle-high end electronics for work, but I'm unsure. There is a no-solder "pogo" (?) for the x2.3 lite, correct? And just any EIDE HDD will work?

Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.
