maybe your explorer doesn´t show
registred extensions. try to get properties on this file. does it have a specific icon? maybe you can use a hexeditor and view the beginning of the file. most formats have a header. blindshoot! rename it to iso or something. rename to rar may help. try to mount it with the daemon tools. error messages or not ?
