"AnyDVD" Question

Just read about AnyDVD and I am hoping that someone can help with a brief description of how to use the program before I attempt to download it.

From what I have been able to read on the forum it sounds as if I need another program to actually create the backup copy on my DVD burner. Any suggestions about which program to use.
