thanx for ur advice rms 2001, but heres what i did right now to fix my problem. sense my router gives ip adresses like 10.0.0.20 etc. i went to xbox's settings and changed the static ip address to 10.0.0.9 and i went to the bottom and i went to where it says save and exit. once i did that i shut down the xbox and turned it back on. and i went to my xbox's settings to see if it worked and it did . so i fired up flashxp and i put in that address and sure enough i can see all the drives in the xbox. with a little trial and error and with a few gears in my brain in turning i made this work.
