Can 2 layer Super Audio Cds be copied with CD/DVD writer?

I dont know much about super audio cds yet , havent really bothered to look. I only have a few hybrid ones with normal cd layer and super audio cd layer. I just wondered if you make a copy of one does it only copy the cd layer to the cd-r ??

I wouldnt know for sure because ive only got one backup and i dont have a super audio cd player so i dont know if it copied both layers. Im guessing the original cd is bigger than normal to fit both layers.

Does anyone know more about this , or maybe is there a program out there that can scan your cd-r and tell you what layers are present??. Maybe you would have to rip the layers using some kind of program?.
