Well, I just picked up some blank TDK DVD's over at CompUSA. A 15 pack of 4x DVD+R's and a 15 pack of 2x DVD-R's, all for $45 total (after tax). I don't think that's a bad price.
Based on reading several reviews of different DVD burners, I also just picked up a Sony DRU-510A DVD+/-RW drive. It should be a really good burner. Also, when I was buying my blank DVD's I noticed there was only one 15 pack of TDK DVD+R's left, while there were quite a few left of the DVD-R's. This gave me the impression that DVD+R's are a little better? Which format of DVD's is better for making copies of movies? And also, which is better for the PS2 lens laser (lesser strain)? A darker write surface or a lighter write surface? I didn't quite catch this one earlier... Again, thanks in advance for answering my questions.
