How do u apply PPF patch files (BIN)

I have downloaded the MDK2 no boarder patch, but it is a PPF file, so I need to use the PPF program ( a psx program)to apply it, but that asks for the bin file, but the file i have burnt of the cd and save to my hard drive is a CDI file, The only program i know that burns files as Bin's is DCRWIN but that doesnt support multi session cds, so how the hell do u apply the patch, or is there another CD burning program that saves the files as bins, please help!!!
