Tiger Woods 2003 no cd problem

I've been trying to get this damn game to work for two days. I keep getting an error that reads "DirectX is reporting that there is not enough Video Memory to run the game" the .exe then crashes back to the desktop. I have tried every crack I can find and have updated my BIOS and video card drivers. I am running DX 9.0b and a Geforce FX5600 256mb video card. I know the error is not what it means because of the amount of video ram I have. I tried using tw2003.exe no cd crack as of 5/2003 that claims to fix problems with 256mb video cards, but not mine. I have followed the procedures for updating the patch, but have no idea what "updater" it refers to, which is the step before applying the crack. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
