No problem, I believe the main focus of the rule is to keep people from spamming requests (new topics) for each recent release. People tend to upload the cracks as fast as they find them so requesting doesnt really help.
If people start talking about issues with a recent release, it doesnt hurt to add on to that post and ask those people to upload it to GCW. If you really have to have a crack, joining or mining Alt.Binaries newsgroups tends to be the fastest.
