Looking for advice & experience ONLY....

I am interested in finding someone who can lead me in the right direction!!

I want to be able to burn and play PS2 games and regular DVD movies.

Alot of people on here disagree with each other so I'm trying to find someone whose opinion I can trust!

I've read about the mod-chips, pre-mod systems, back-up programs, etc. It's very confusing to a mother of 2 boys!

I know my way around the PC a bit, but am at a loss about these mod chips. I already bought (2) complete PS-2 systems for the boys for X-mas. Cannot return them. I have a CD burner. Looking for options on getting a chip or chip(s) installed - or if there is someone who could walk me through the installation (I think I could do it with the right help).

I live in Ohio, USA.

Someone please help.....would be so very much appreciated!
