Yes. You will need Action replay 2 or Gameshark 2 to act as your boot disk and you select:
START GAME WITHOUT CODES Swap out the AR2/GS2 disk; swap in the DVD9 game and hit X on the game paddle. It should boot. there is no direct boot solution with Magic 2.
