I already noticed that the FBSA crack was only 1 kb. For a patch, that's usually too few bytes to also incorporate some checks to see if you try to apply it on the right version of executable, so if this was the faulty patch you tried, it's no wonder it didn't say anything about a wrong version. I much prefer patch makers to incorporate some checks to see if the user tries to apply it on the right executable, because with patching one byte on the wrong place can crash your game
