Using Windows XP?
Then you should install display driver from the manufacturer, driver come with WinXP doesn't support any OpenGL function.

If you play games, don't use WinXP's display driver for any cards...

Download the detonator drivers. I believe you can find them at the homepage from Ndivia, not sure on this one.

Soldier of Fortune 2 and Open GL problems

Hey guys.
Unfortunately having the same problem with Soldier of Fortune 2 - Double Helix. I was aware that the problem may be to do with the video card drivers - and having just upgraded to XP, i found it was using the default XP drivers.

so i went to the Nvidia site, and went to the drivers section (http://www.nvidia.com/view.asp?PAGE=drivers) and subsequently dloaded the "Detonator XP" driver for XP/2000.

It installed successfully, but the problem remains, and each time i try to enter the game it reports open GL errors of some description.

Can someone help me out please!?

I have a Nvidia Riva TNT2 32 MB Video Card at the mom.
Running Win XP Pro OS on a 550 Mhz System.

Re: Soldier of Fortune 2 and Open GL problems

which version you downloaded? i found out that some version of nvidia detonator digital signed driver cannot replace automatically the winxp default os driver.

so, maybe you gotta change the driver manually!

i think you should know how to change it manually, right?
