Req Help with cracking Spyro 3

Can somebody please help me as I am trying to crack my first game and I am lost.

I downloaded a crack for Spyro The Dragon 3, to eliminate the copy protection on the game. When I extracted the files to a folder, there was no applyppf.exe file, which I have been told I needed to apply. Can someone either tell me where to get the file or tell me where I am going wrong. Thank you to anyone who can help in any way.

i take it you are talking about the psx games and it being the pal version NONE OF THE PATCHES WORK the only way is with cd clone and it as to be 100% compatible with your writer

ATTN : backitup

I own Clone CD and have no compatibility problems with my PC. When I tried the normal disc - disc copy method, the game loads but when I try to load information from the memory card the screen goes blank and the playstation crashes. This also happens soon into a new game. I take it this is the protection kicking in.

Do I have to do something to the image when I have it on the hard drive?

Thank you for your help as I am totally lost and nobody I know can sort the problem!

Spyro 3

I'm hoping that someone can help me, I have tried to use the patches for the PSX Spyro 3 for the modchip protection and i get the message that the filesize is incorrect.. Im using CDRWIN and PPFOMATIC to patch.
I've patched other games with no problems but this one seems to be intent on making tons of coasters.. the only one that seems to be the correct filesize is the Euro/Pal but the copy that I have is US/NTSC
Help.... thanks

Well as I said in my post doing it the way backup explained using Clone CD worked perfect for me and I assume it should work for you if you do exactly as he has explained. I tried it using a patch and CDRWIN and also failed but doing it Backups way worked first time for me and loads no problem - it is an exact copy of the original without a crack - Give it a go mate - worth a try for the price of a cd...
