Evil Dead...Screen Probs???

I just burned Evil Dead2. I downloaded the patch from MegaGames.com and everything went good, until, I placed it into the machine (PSOne). The screen began to jump. Like the vertical allignment was off or something??? Did I do something wrong? Is the patch garbage?? I used CDRwin to burn it and it's not the first time I have backed up my games ;-)

Anyone with some insight, PLEASE let me know!!
