Also you can use the 1.0.1 Patch!

The Crack is not overwritten from the Patch...you can play without Starforce after the 1.0.1 Patch

Lool

It works.

For the next time I suggest that they create a Starforce Version which is protected against stupid programmers.

Unbelievable... this is the most stupid thing I've ever heard about cracks and it confirms that publishers' offices are full of idiots. Or maybe that creating a sequel is easier than I thought: just change the name and use the map editor . Bah.... I wonder if they even have the courage to sell it at full price, when they are so f...ing lazy to not even change the .exe file.
Anyway, hope they will do the same with other great games, I'll be here waiting with old cracks in my pocket

Looks like RELOADED have cracked this 'properly' so now you can use the proper cracked EXE and not a modified BIA crack!

Sent it to GCW

Well the RELOADED crack is apparently RELOADEDs own BiA: Road to Hill 30 crack (from their DVDrip release back then). That is not confirmed but it could be.

A size compare brings me this:
HOODLUM crack for BIA = 262.144 bytes
RELOADED crack for BIA 2 = 421.888 bytes

It could on the other hand be so that the RELOADED version of BIA2 is fully cracked and not BIA1 exe.

I doubt they used a crack from BiA simply because the RELOADED crack of Earned in Blood has extra sections in the EXE called 'sforce3' and 'brick' which are only found in Starforce executables, this leads me to believe they genuinely cracked the Starforce protection on Earned in Blood.

Also, since BiA: Road to Hill 30 was Safedisc protected, those sections are not found in Safedisc EXE's regardless of who cracked it and released it!

I've seen many posts on other forums from people who haven't got a clue (I'm not implying YOU personally don't have a clue!) but some are total bullsh*t, one poster implied the RELOADED release of Earned in Blood was smaller than the CloneDVD release because they released it in ISO format which has better 'compression' than an Alcohol image Guess he didn't know SF3 protected DVD's can be made to fill up an entire DVD even if the original data is no where near a full DVD and so Alcohol images contain all this extra crap, whereas making an ISO image just fills the up the DVD with the same data files as the original DVD but minus the DVD filling protection bullsh*t!

So I think i'm correct in saying RELOADED cracked EiB by their own hand

I have only made a size compare, never bothered with checking with some hexedit...

One big reason reloadeds release is smaller is this:
on the disc there is a file named "padding.dat" (or similar, can't remember right now, gotta check it later) that is about 1gb large. It has nothing at all to do with the game. It was simply put there to slow down P2P distribution of any iso made.

Clones requires all files to be left on the CD/DVD in order to work. A cracked one does not require all files to be there/does not need protection files.
Reloaded has removed the .dat file and probably saved some space by removing space...

Reloaded also released a cracked version of Sniper Elite today, it uses Starforce 3.5...

Looks as if Starforce is finally getting taken down, it we get lucky distributors will see that and move to less destructive protections like Safedisc and SecuROM. I still purchase all games I play but I am happy as long as I can buy without starforce in them...

Sure they might move down to safedisc and securom, but I don't see any safedisc titles with SDAPI on them getting cracked. Do you?? Of course, it is less destructive, and I will be thankful for that

The fact that Safedisc and SecuROM gives more performance is also to my liking...

But if we think like this, Reloaded has been working on almost only Starforce for pretty long time now, right? Reloaded and Silentgate has made all Starforce cracks in the last 2 years (almost atleast).
If Starforce falls out as the best protection they will probably aim at Safedisc with SDAPI later on or SecuROM v7 with all options turned on...
I am sure Safedisc with SDAPI will be cracked later on too. Give it some time..

Reloaded are pretty much the talent ftm, the new Deviance has some too but not enough...

Do not rejoice at this couple of Reloaded nfos. There is very basic protection level on it. There is no any functions protection, just code encription. This level of protection cracks in one-two-three.
Remember SCCT? There was top-level protection it. Where is the crack?
I do not want to take away glory of RELOADED, but af the moment they could owned only basic versions of SF...

With a mounted image the original (uncracked) BiA.exe also works
