Rome Total War cheats codes don't work

The Rome Total War cheats don't work - has anyone else actually got the cheat codes to work? and please I'm not a newbie don't even think of lamblasting me as if I don't know what I'm doing....

I've managed to beat the game without the cheats but sometimes you just like to act godly ya know.......

Note: Some of these can only be used once per game.

What kind of cheat codes can only be used ONCE like WTF!!!!!!!

And what does this have to do with this forum? Ask the publisher for help.
