BIG problem with my copy of Soul Calibur....please read!
last night i downloaded soul calibur......it was a winzip file so i extracted that, then it was a cdi file, and then i converted it to nero, because nero works better on my computer then nero. now i did this and burned it on a cd. i put it in my dreamcast and the game looks like it has horrible tracking. the screen goes up and down, kinda like when your vcr is out of tracking. now the game runs fine, but its still unplayable. has anyone had this problem?? please dont say i downloaded 500MB for nothing

When the game first comes on you have to set the screen to 60meghertz or whichever it is in the middle. You'll see what i am talking about when you start it, then it will play fine.

what FRod means is it sounds like the game you are playing is the pal version on a ntsc system where the game is set to run at 50hz refresh rate therefore on a north american tv it would show up choppy unless of course you had the option in the game at the beginning (like in sega gt europe which i have to set to 60Hz to get the lines to go away), for this case you don't have that option so if you are playing a pal on a north american then you can't use it,
so a better question to ask is what version of the game is it, and what country are you playing in i mean what is your dreamcast regards webber |

The guy is right , everyone with a ntsc system and ntsc tv will experence the same problem.load it up and when the screen starts shaking like a tracking problem u say move the d-pad one time to right side and it start button. then the game will work just fine.
