Restaurant Empire 1.20 fix not working for me

Hey folks...

I did a full install of Restaurant Empire. Downloaded the official v1.20 patch. I extracted the contents of the patch file and copied all the files into the game directory.

I then downloaded the Restaurant Empire v1.20 [ENGLISH] No-CD/Fixed file from this site. Extracted the RE.EXE file and copied that into the game directory but when I try to run it, I get an error.

RE.EXE - Entry Point Not Found

The procedure entry point RestoreLastError could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.DLL.

Any ideas what that is? How can I fix that?

What OS (operating system e.g. windows 98 etc.) are you using, because the one you have wont work for win98 or winme, *************.com has the new sorking one your after.....go here to get it......

I ran into the same problem as m3tech.Also, sometimes it gives another error message:

Re caused an invalid page fault in the module re.exe at some funky address.I've downloaded both the English(25MB)and the german(5MB) patches.The german version fix atleast starts loading the game, but says "Error loading : anim/CHEFINT.AM2"

I use win 98. The link you gave above:

does not work for me.It just opens a blank page, or the site not found error message.Could you please,P-L-E-A-S-E give me any other site address where I can download a nice working fix?Also, I have the latest 1.21(Asia) patch installed.
