Alcohol 120% Question
I recently made a copy MOHAA and the expansion SPEARHEAD using Alcohol 120%. I installed both games to one of my computers using the copies.None of the original games were ever installed on the computer. Both games work fine until I try installing them on my other computer which then tells me to insert the correct CD when it comes time to play the game.Does Alcohol 120% have to be installed on both computers,or am I doing something wrong?I have a Lite-On 52x24x52 CDRW writer.

It is likely that the ATIP check is stopping you from playing them.
Briefly: Every CD-R has an ATIP. It contains information on dye colour, manufacturer, length etc. Pressed (original) cds dont have an ATIP as it's not required. So the game does a simple check to see if an ATIP is present and if it is then it won't play. The flaw with this protection is that only cd-writers can read ATIP, so if you played in a normal cd-rom then it would not be able to detect it. You have two options: Play in a non cd-writer or Install Alcohol on the other machine and use it's "Ignore Media Type" fucntion in order to hide the ATIP whilst the game is running.
