NHL2003 problem - Crashes on startup on WinXP

I am using the razor-crack and running Win XP.
Directly on startup, before any EA-screens what so ever, the game whitescreens and crashes (And of course asks me to report in that error to Microsoft... yeah right...)

Did anyone else experience this problem?
What can I do about it?

Theres a problem with NHL 2003 and Windows Media Player. Go to the official NHL 2003 to find out how to fix it or search these forums.

Bah I had that same problem but now I got anew winXp anyway I got another even sillier problem. The thing is thet when I go ion game the screen size is kinda wrong. Like Im seeing only 3/4 of the screen: i cant see the bottom and on side properly. I even cant push the start game button cuz I dotn see it. has anyone had that ??? I tried re-installing all my video drivers etc. still nothing. Plz help I really wanna play the friggin game.
