Dvd Movie Backing Up ERROR

Has anybody installed win dvd or power dvd and then when trying to extract the movie you get a blue screen with vxd error on it? Im having this problem i dont know if ts my player program im using or if its my dvd rom it self. I didnt have a problem before with power dvd now everytime i put in a dvd movie or a mpeg file just to view or click on it i get this blue screen and it freezes up my pc, i uninstalled the program and still same thing i think its still in my system but i dont know how to get rid of it. anybody have the same problems as me? and know how to fix it? better yet know any other programs to play dvd movies that wont mess up your computer and is compatible with win 98 or 2000? need help bad!!! thanks people

You might think you are doubling your chances of getting an answer but most people here flick through the majority of sections and your post does get read.
The best things you can do to improve your chances of getting an answer are posting in the relevant section, giving details, and being polite.

well i didnt know that and now i do thanks for that info i dont need to be talked to like that though just explained im still a new member and i dont know the rules officially. i am being polite im not rude on these posts
