HELP! W2k .bin burning problem!

I'm running Windows 2000 pro with the Adaptec ASPI software and a TDK VeloCD burner. Burning files works fine in Nero, but when I try to burn a .bin image in either Nero or CDRwin, the CD is inaccessible. All the data gets written, and there are no errors during burn... but when I try to access the CD afterwards, it says 'incorrect function'. Ideas?

Usually there is a .cue file with .bin file. .cue file is basically a text file that will instruct burning programs to burn .bin images correctly. If you acquired a .cue file with your .bin file in nero go to File -> burn image... -> select all files -> then select .cue file instead of .bin file (make sure they are in same folder) -> press Open. Now go along burning the image. Now hopefully the CD image will be burned correctly.

I load the .cue file into CDRwin and burn. I've also tried just the .bin file through Nero. Both will burn fine, but the CD gives me the 'incorrect function' error when I try to access it.

ya, tried Nero. it's strange... in nero, the size of the burned area is bigger than it was in CDRwin, but both didn't work

pirated cdr win serials will screw you bad....

it 'seems' the progeram is working just fine, but you get a lot of coasters.

since i put a decent serial in, i haevn't had any trouble with it at all.
not made a coaster since then with it either.

shoot me an e-mail, and i can help you ;->

or just download bin to iso converter, and burn from iso image, or iso buster to extract data to hard drive.
