Req:way to PS2 divx player copmpatabillity

Im tired of burning divxes that arint compatable with it all the ones I make myself with DrDivx always work but often the ones I (leagally) download often dont work

ether becuse what it says (no index in avi) or the sound is incompatable

So IS THERE A WAY TO CHECK IF THEY WILL WORK before I burn them
so I can reincode them without wasting a CD
