The same controller from the xbox one works on pc, but sometimes you have to change the usb cable instead to of other to get detect an just autoconfigure but on windows 7 might need a driver ( not sure on 32 bits versions if available) i didnt need on windows 8 and is said the same on windows 10, vista and lower looks uncompatible now
