Modchip Help Needed - Expert Help Required
Hi,
I have a friend who tried to install a chip in his PSone himself. Long story short, he screwed up and a vital component went flying across the room. i need to identify this component.
It think it is a surface mount capacitor, i lies just under the main processor, directly underneath a marking on the board that says C708 (i think). It is the component that has pin 6 of the psone mod attached to it.
The attached pic may help.
If anyone could have a peek inside their psone and test this component, i will be eternally greatful.
