That's an interesting question but it depends on what you exactly want:
- If you want to make sure that noone can post (anymore) in this forum in your name then permbanning your account is a solution.
- If you don't want your account here to get hacked, and your personal information stolen, you should choose a password that is 1) hard to guess for others and 2) very different from what you use for your other accounts. (I use KeePass for maintaining random generated passwords.)
- If you want your posts to be deleted along with your account, that, in my opinion, is a mistake. From the moment you posted something publicly, it's not entirely yours anymore, it belongs to humankind. (Okay, this is not the forum where
so great inventions are made but ideas can only be good if they affect the lives of other people.) Yeah, I know about "the right to be forgotten" but that should rather be "the right to be forgiven" instead.
