the two people above made some good points. NEVER try to crack CDRWin. i have tried serveral cracks and have just wound up with more coasters. if you have tried to crack it, uninstall it, reinstall it, and deal with having to click on the pop-up windows. you do not want to burn psx games at 8X anyway, so be just leave it as a demo version. also, MODchips can heat up, and if they are not soldered solidly, they can come loose of the board.

however, i have successfully patched all 4 cds of LoD. i used CDRWin 3.8C (whichever version is the latest), and the patch on the megagames site. the file was produced by Paradox (PDX), includes a PAL/NTSC selector, 3 trainers (cheats), and the all important MODchip protection fix. the file size is 276kB, so you can see if you have the right one.

i do not know if you can apply patches to NERO images. in the PPF documentation it only mentions CDRWin, so i would stick with that. i have burned multitudes of games, and CDRWin has NEVER let me down.
