Well, I tried without the SCART lead, but it still does it.
You say you have many games. Do you have Time Crisis 2? If you do, try loading stage 2, and watch the Stage 2 intro. Right after the big guy smashes his cell phone, the heroes come by car. When the car arrives, I hear the distortion sound. Also, when they get back in the car, the car drives down the mountain and that's when I can hear that distortion really bad.
Can you check out how you hear that?
