You have obviously created an image of the game as you say you have tried using a virtual drive? So I presume you are mounting your image in either Alcohol or Daemon Tools?
If so also try usin SR Stop! It is available from GameCopyWorld. (I think)
This "Original disc could not be found or authenticated." is a Securom message and SR Stop should stop it! It works on other Securom games so you may be lucky.
P.S: Please post back here to let others know if it did work like I said.
I dont have the game so I cannot test it for you but like ive already said that method works for other securom games.
