Try this people, for those who have managed to dump a successful DPM backup image of trackmania sunrise...
This worked for me - You NEED WinXP Service pack 2 or it won't work.

1. Clean out any current starforce installed on your system first. Run SFClean
http://help.starforce.ru/Sfclean/sfclean.exe
Install Daemon Tools 3.46, and when asked what to name the two drivers, put anything in but the default names.
Reboot and unplug and CD/DVD DEVICE. (YOUR CHOICE).
2. NOTE: AMD 64 Systems ONLY!!! (If you haven't got AMD 64 architecture,
skip to step 3.)

You must edit your boot ini. Change the following:
/noexecute=optin TO /execute=optin
line should now read:
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Micro soft Windows XP Professional" /execute=optin /fastdetect
Now go and Reboot.

3. Install SFCure, (open run cmd > run !setup.bat (SFCure)).
4. Mount the image with DAEMON TOOLS, ENABLE ALL THE EMULATIONS, and install game.
5. Unmount the image, now run the game it will tell you it needs to reboot after
it sets up starforce.
!! Reboot !!
6. Run SFNightmare.exe and disable NODE, and CD.
(Note: If you have an ATAPI device still plugged in, also disable the appropriate IDE data channel.)
7. Run !start.bat (SFCure)
8. Mount the Image in DAEMON TOOLS
9. Run the Game.
10. Store your genuine copy of Trackmania somewhere safe =]

- For AMD64 systems you need to use sfcure_x64.
