All action replay bascially is is a Euro Gameshark. It was out in america for many years on many different platforms, but was just no competition for Game Genie because of their strong marketing. As far as getting it to work, I'm still hazy on that myself, I used it on a friends DC and it erased all of his internal memory (i.e. ### registery numbers, ### bank storage, ISP #'s etc.). Made me all the more gald that I didn't use it on mine.
