If you are trying to copy official Dreamcast game discs, this will not work. It is a very involved process to copy a DC game and you can't do it with just a CD burner. It requires interfacing your computer to your Dreamcast by serial or broadband connection and using special software to RIP the game from the Dreamcast disc reader to your PC.
Recommendation: Being a newbie - don't try this! Look for the game already ripped and in a disc image, ready to burn. If you don't have a fast connection for download, maybe you know someone who does, and can download them for you.
Don't ask where to get them though - it's against the rules. Just do a search on the Internet and you'll likely find something.
