If you're making a NON-BOOT type disc (that you use the Bootdisk with), be sure you write the disc using MODE-1, and either "Disc-at-Once" or "Session-at-Once" with "Close Disc".
I had problems with a disc and tried to burn it as a straight non-boot and wasted several discs until I compared CrazyTaxi (non-bootable) with the discs I'd burned and found that the ones I was burning were MODE-2 (CD-XA), multisession (disc-info showed two session numbers) and still were recordable, whereas the CT disc was MODE-1, single session and unrecordable.
