Well the Plus is for people who can't solder and or are to lasy to solder. Solderless chips some times move of your Xbox is bumped, than you gotta open it back up and line it up... With my old Matrix this only happend a few times. When I brought it on the plane and when I drove back from the east coast. But it did stay in place when I drove to Oregon and came back...
As for the Lite, I'd get this. Just seven wires to solder and it done. Its not going to move. Plus its cheaper.
