1. If you upgrade to the newest firmware, 1.33, it doesnt matter. They are the exact same drive. The A04 is even recognized as a 104 by your computer. It doesnt really matter if you upgrade or not. But why not be up to date?
2. Yes, PrimoDvd works great with the A04.
3. You dont need RecordNow Max if you have PrimoDvd. Plus PrimoDvd is free. You can get PrimoDvd from
cdrsoft.cc Click on downloads on the left and then search for primodvd.
4. If you are in the US then Verbatim is best followed by TDK. If you are in the UK then go with Traxdata.
