Memory can quite possibly cause crashes here and there so its always better to test a lower memory option and see if that works. I would suggest trying 256M first.

Split the 5gb file into 256mb chunks or lower. Then process each chunks with the tool (ue4dt only) and see which chunk is failing. If multiple chunks are failing then no need to upload all of them....
