Conversion updated to CIU 3
_CommonRedists go on Last DVD

zirkhaki 17-07-2017 14:59

Dear Pakrat2k2, I've done the conversion with your attached file.
with pzlib+srep+lzma2 ther would be 3 DVD5s but I have a problem for installing: the installation goes about 20 percent and it stuck on a 300kb file and goes no further and i most close the installation from task manager. I have enough space and I get no error. I don't know what to do.

with srep+lzma the result would be 4 DVDs and I have not tested the installation yet.
one more thing, should I rename "support" folder to "_commonredist"?

pakrat2k2 18-07-2017 07:55

some games will not work with pzlib at all, just use srep/lzma & be done with it.

Error for me as well during installation.. with pzlib+srep+lzma, it could save 4.5Gb more compared to srep+lzma only.

Is there any ways that can be done here pakrat2k2?

Thank you very much for your kind assistance.

If it's only one file where pzlib stucks, then exclude this file from compressing, afterwards add it manually to a single bin file and add this bin file to records.ini

pakrat2k2 02-04-2019 05:56

Again it went into loop, I don't recall what to edit to avoid the loop on selecting the directory.

edit: I just set the directory into the .bat.
